Depression affects the men health for various reasons. Almost all men tend to deal with depression differently and exhibit different signs that they are depressed. Depression affects are from mild to severe depending upon the types of depression.
Depression strikes you in so many ways such as emotionally, physically, socially and mentally. So many affects of depression disturb you in your daily routine. In men depression is often a hidden problem. Many men tend to suffer in silence, rather than talking about their feelings which later affects their health. 4. Men who are workaholic may become more towards his work, and start ignoring his relationships.
5. Typical signs of depression in men are such as, feelings of tiredness, sleep disturbances and decreased libido. Mental patterns may change; men may think more ineffectively and perceive the world in darker, more frightening ways.

Men with depression become constantly tired, feeling sad and tearful, excited, anxious, loss of weight, agitated, exhausted. Sleep patterns also change due to depression leading to loss of sex drive, low self esteem and aches and pains.
Depression in men is well observed when they are always peevish, isolated and withdrawn, who find work as fortress of solitude. Depression causes men to drink too much alcohol, using prohibited drugs. Alcohol affects men health and sexual health overall.
Men tend to be always independent and have strong self-control and it is very unlikely for them to express pain, doubt, weakness, and sadness. That is why they see depression as a threat to their image, resulting in denial or hiding away.
Depression can be bad. However, when it reaches a level beyond which you feel in control any longer. Depression then becomes counter productive and destructive in men health. When you find yourself depressed, it can cause tension, insomnia, fatigue, loss of weight, loss of sleep, and other physical and psychological problems.
